We are an independent fundamental Baptist church. This site is created to all church members and visitors, as simple and friendly as possible. Please take some time and look around on our website.
Our church is located in the center of the DFW community, just south of DFW International Airport. Our church is easily accessible from anywhere in the greater DFW area. Our church facilities are located just south of I-30 on Beltline Rd.
There are more than 15,000 independent Baptist churches in America and at least 10,000 independent Baptist missionaries serving on mission fields worldwide.
Every independent Baptist church is an autonomous congregation. We are self- governing and self-supporting. The head of the church is the Lord Jesus Christ. The King James Bible is our sole authority for faith and practice. It is our desire to be a truly New Testament church.
At the Grand Prairie Baptist Church, though we have one message-the message of the Lord Jesus Christ, and one ministry-the ministry He has given us to go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature.
Romans 6:4 Therefore we are buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of life.
New Life
New life in Christ!
Abundant and free!
What glories shine,
What joys are mine,
What wondrous blessings I see!
My past with its sin,
The searching and strife,
Forever gone—
There’s a bright new dawn!
For in Christ I have found a new life!
A great church is made up of strong Christians and Strong Christian families.
The Bible says, "Faith cometh by hearing and hearingby the Word of God.” Reading the Bible is vital to the Christian life. As we read the Bible, we should search the Scriptures, comparing Scripture with Scripture. Also, set a goal to memorize Scripture and meditate on the Word of God. In our personal lives and with our families each day, we need to be reading the Word of God.
We believe that God hears and answers prayer. There is no doubt about it, the greatest untapped resource in the Christian life is the matter of prayer. Pray each day. Pray for loved ones. Pray for church leaders and their families. Pray for your church. Pray for our nation. Pray for the lost. Establish a prayer list. Pray.
The Lord Jesus Christ deserves your faithfulness. Attend every service of the church. A great deal of the strength of the church is based on the faithfulness of the people. Support special meetings at the church with your faithful attendance.
God’s work is to be supported God’s way. The Bible teaches that we should pay the tithe and give our offerings. Practice tithing as a conviction. Bring the Lord's tithe with you to church each Sunday. Support the ministries of the church with offerings. By faith give to worldwide missions. Support the Christian education endeavors of the church. We cannot outgive God.
Our Lord Jesus Christ came to seek and to save that which was lost. He left us on earth to tell others about the Savior. Determine to bring others to the Savior. Work to bring other families to Christ and to the church. Set a time to go. Make a list of names and addresses of people you want to reach for Christ.
Determine to be a Five-Star Christian
This is a time when you can be a real help and encouragement to your pastor. May God help you to work together to see something beyond the ordinary accomplished for Christ through your church.
Traditional music and worship services. Clear teaching and preaching the King James Bible in all of our services.
Resurrection Sunday March 31
We got saved and baptized after hearing about Jesus as our Savior.
Godly living and Christian fellowship
If you died right now do you know for sure that you would go to Heaven? In one minute, I can explain to you how you can know for sure that if you died today, that you would go to Heaven. All you have to know is 4 simple things:
1.God says, I am a sinner. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God;” Romans 3:23. If you are honest you know that you have lied. That is a sin. I’m a sinner. You’re a sinner. All mankind are sinners. How did you become a sinner? What is the price for your sin?
2.God says, the price on sin is Death. “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:” Romans 5:12 This is a story of Adam and Eve in the Garden f Eden. God told them they could eat of any tree, except the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. They disobeyed God and ate of that tree. They committed a sin. That sin nature is passed down to you and me. The price for sin is eternal death, death in Hell. That penalty for sin is passed down to you and me.
3.God says, Christ died for You. “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Romans 5:8 God loves you so much that He does not want you to go to an eternal Hell. In fact, He loves you so much that He sent His only begotten Son Jesus to die on the cross in our place. God actually lifted the sins from you and place them on His on Son. When they nailed Jesus to the Cross He paid your price for sin, death. They buried Jesus, but He arose from the dead. He conquered death and He conquered sin.
HE Offers You Life “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.” Romans 6:23 Eternal life is a gift. You cannot get baptized into Heaven; be good to get into Heaven; pay money to get into Heaven. In fact, You cannot do anything to get into Heaven, except to be sorry for your sins and trust in Jesus as your only hope of Heaven.
God says, Believe & take God at His Word. Acts 8:36-37, "And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized? And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God."
Acts 16:31, “And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.”
You Must Believe Upon Him. Do you admit that you are a sinner? Do you believe Jesus is the Son of God? If you are truly sorry for your sins and would like for God to save your soul, just believe on the Lord Jesus Christ from your heart .
NONE of these verses say that we must do something to receive salvation. We could never do anything to earn our salvation. Jesus did it all on Calvary over 2000 years ago. No church membership, religion, baptism, sacrament, ceremony or good deed will earn salvation for anyone.
(1) You must see yourself as a sinner needing to be saved.
(2) You must truly want to be saved.
(3) You must realize that you cannot save yourself.
(4) You must come to Jesus as a lost sinner and put your complete trust, hope, and belief in His ability alone to save you.
(5) Then you must simply take him at His word and by faith accept His free gift of eternal life and salvation.
This is so simple, and also urgent that God says in II Cor. 6:2 “…Behold NOW is the accepted time; behold, NOW is the day of salvation.”
Dear Friend, please do not put off this decision. If you understand and believe, would you trust Jesus as your personal Savior right now? Will you in simple faith bow your head and ask the Lord to save you and give you eternal life.
God says, Romans 10:13, “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”

DOCTRINAL STATEMENT
A. Inspiration of the Scriptures: We believe that the Bible, both the Old and New Testaments, is the only and final revelation of the will of God to man; the true center of Christian union and Supreme Standard by which all human conduct, creeds and opinions shall be tried and that it was given supernaturally by inspiration and has been preserved free from error by God in the Authorized (King James) Version of the Bible. The King James Version is a true, faithful, and accurate translation. (Psalms 19:7-11; II Timothy 3:16 & 17; II Peter 1:21; I Thessalonians 2:13)
B. The Triune God: We believe that there is but one true and living God, eternally existing and manifesting Himself to us in three divine persons: Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. Equal in every divine perfection and executing distinct but harmonious offices in the great work of redemption. (Genesis 1:26; John 10:30 & 36; John 14:26; John 15:26; John 16:13-15; John 17:22; II Corinthians 13:14)
C. God, the Father: We believe that God the Father is our Heavenly Father, the Maker and Supreme Ruler of Heaven and earth and worthy of all possible honor, confidence and love. (Malachi 2:10; Matthew 11:25-27; Mark 14:36; Romans 8:15; I Corinthians 8:6; Galatians 1:1 & 4; Ephesians 4:6, 5:20, & 6:23; II Timothy 1:2; Jude 1)
D. Jesus Christ, the Son of God:1. The Deity of Jesus Christ: We believe that Jesus Christ exists from eternity co-equal with the Father, that He is the only begotten of the Holy Ghost in a miraculous manner, born of a virgin and that He is the Son of God, and the God the Son. (Matthew 1:18-25; John 1:1-14; Hebrews 1:1-3; Colossians 2:9)2. Blood Atonement: We believe in the substitutionary atonement of the Lord Jesus Christ, and that all must be “born-again” through personal faith in His shed Blood or be forever lost. (Isaiah 53:11; II Corinthians 5:21; John 3:1-18 & 6:44-58; Hebrews 2:9; I Peter 1:18 & 19)3. Resurrection and Exaltation of Jesus Christ: We believe in the bodily resurrection of Jesus Christ, that He ascended bodily into heaven and that He is now at God’s right hand as our Mediator, High Priest and Advocate. (John 20; Acts 3:12-26; Romans 4:25; I Corinthians 15:12-28; Hebrews 9:24; I John 2:1)4. Second Coming of Christ: We believe in the personal, pre-millennial and imminent second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. (John 14:1-3; Acts 1:11; I Corinthians 15:50-55; I Thessalonians 4:13-18; Revelation 19:11-21 & 20:1-6)
E. The Holy Spirit: We believe in the personality and divinity of the Holy Spirit; that He indwells all regenerate persons; that He instructs and helps the body of Christ; that He convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement; and that He is the infallible interpreter of the infallible scriptures. (John 14:16 & 17; 16:7-15; Romans 8:26 & 27; I Corinthians 12:4-11)
F. The Church: The New Testament Church is a Congregation of “born again” baptized believers which acknowledges Christ as its Head; is united in the belief of the gospel; agrees to meet together in worship. Membership must be preceded by two important qualifications: Moral, and ceremonial. The moral qualification is regeneration. The ceremonial qualification is one, baptism (immersion) in water by the authority of the Assembly itself, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Ghost. (Acts 2:41 & 42; I Corinthians 3:10 & 11; 12:13; Ephesians 1:22 & 23; 2:19-22; Colossians 1:18)
G. Sin: We believe that man was created in the image of God, that he sinned and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also the death which separates him from God. All human beings are born without God and into sin; sin by choice, positively inclined to evil, and therefore under just condemnation to eternal damnation without defense or excuse. (Genesis 1:26 & 27; Genesis 2:17; Psalms 51:5; Psalms 58:3; Jeremiah 17:9; Ezekiel 18:4; Romans 1:18-21; 3:10-23; 5:12; Ephesians 2:1-3; 11-13)
H. Salvation: We believe that salvation is by Grace through faith in the shed blood of our Lord Jesus Christ on the cross of Calvary, and that the eternal security of the truly regenerate believer is being kept by the power of God. (John 10:28 & 29; Romans 8:39; 10:9-13; Ephesians 2:8 & 9; II Timothy 1:12; I Peter 1:5; Jude 24)
I. Satan: We believe Satan was once holy, and enjoyed heavenly honors; but through pride and ambition to be as the Almighty, fell and drew after him a host of angels; that he is now the malignant prince of the power of the air, and the unholy god of this world. We hold him to be man’s great tempter, the enemy of God and His Christ, the accuser of the saints, the author of all false religions, the chief power back of the present apostasy; the lord of the antichrist, and the author of all the powers of darkness – destined however to final defeat at the hands of God’s own Son, and to the judgement of an eternal justice in hell, a place prepared for him and his angels. (Isaiah 14:12-17; Ezekiel 28:14-17; Matthew 4:8-11; John 8:44; Revelation 12:9 & 10; 20:10)
J. Creation: We believe in the Genesis account of creation, and that it is to be accepted literally, and not allegorically or figuratively; that man was created directly in God’s own image and after His own likeness; that man’s creation was not a matter of evolution or evolutionary change in species, or development through interminable periods of time from lower to higher forms; that all animal and vegetable life was made directly and God’s established law was that they should bring forth only “after their kind.” (Genesis 1:1; Exodus 20:11; John 1:3; Romans 1:20; Revelation 10:6)
K. Heaven and Hell: We believe that the souls of those who have trusted in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation do at death immediately pass into His presence and there remain in conscious bliss until the resurrection of the body at His coming when soul and body reunited shall be associated with Him forever in glory; but, that the souls of unbelievers remain after death in conscious misery in hell unto the final judgment of the Great White Throne at the close of the millennium, when soul and body reunited shall be cast into the lake of fire from the presence of the Lord and from the glory of His power. (Luke 16:19-26; 23:43; II Corinthians 5:8; Philippians 1:23; II Thessalonians 1:7-9; revelation 20:11-15; 14:9-14; I Thessalonians 1:7-9; Revelation 20:11-15; 14:9-14; I Thessalonians 4:13-18)
L. Separation: We believe in the Biblical doctrine of separation which encompasses three things: (1) the separation of the local church from all affiliation and fellowship with those who deny the verities of the “faith which was once delivered to the saints”, and from those individuals and organizations similarly associated; (2) the separation of the individual believer from all worldly practices that may dishonor the Saviour; and (3) the separation of the church from government control. (Romans 12:1-2; II Corinthians 6:11-7:1; II Thessalonians 3:6,14, & 15; I John 2:15-17; II John 9-11; Jude 3)
M. Civil Government: We believe that God has ordained and created all authority consisting of three basic institutions: 1) the home; 2) the Church; and 3) the state. Every person is subject to these authorities, but all (including the authorities themselves) are answerable to God and governed by His Word. God has given each institution specific Biblical responsibilities and balanced those responsibilities with the understanding that no institution has the right to infringe upon the other. The home, the Church, and the state are equal and sovereign in their respective Biblically assigned spheres of responsibility under God. (Romans 13:1-7, Ephesians 5:22-24, Hebrews 13:17, 1 Peter 2:13-14)
N. Human Sexuality: We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity should be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of homosexuality, lesbianism, bisexuality, bestiality, incest, fornication, adultery and pornography are sinful perversions of God’s gift of sex. (Genesis 2:24, 19:5-13, 26:8-9, Leviticus 18, Romans 1-26-32, I Corinthians 5:1, 6:9, I Thessalonians 4:1-8, Hebrews 13:4)
O. Abortion: We believe that human life begins at conception and that the unborn child is a living human being. Abortion constitutes the unjustified, unexcused taking of unborn human life. Abortion is murder. We reject any teaching that abortions of pregnancies due to rape, incest, birth defects, gender selection, birth or population control, or the mental well-being of the mother are acceptable. (Job 3:16, Psalms 51:5, 139:14-16, Isaiah 44:24, 49:1 & 5, Jeremiah 1:5, 20:15-18, Luke 1:44)
P. Missions: We believe that God has given the Church a Great Commission to proclaim the Gospel to all nations so that there might be a great multitude from every nation, tribe, ethnic group, and language group who believe on the Lord Jesus Christ. As ambassadors of Christ we must use all available means to go to foreign nations and not wait for them to come to us. (Matthew 28:19-20, Mark 16:15, Luke 24:46-48, John 20:21, Acts 1:8, II Corinthians 5:20)
Q. Lawsuits Between Believers: We believe that Christians are prohibited from bringing civil lawsuits against other Christians or the Church to resolve personal disputes. We believe the Church possesses all the resources necessary to resolve personal disputes between members. We do believe, however, that a Christian may seek compensation for injuries from another Christian’s insurance company as long as the claim is pursued without malice or slander. (I Corinthians 6:1-8, Ephesians 4:31-32)
R. Giving: We believe that every Christian, as a steward of that portion of God’s wealth entrusted to him, is obligated to support his local church financially. We believe that God has established the tithe, and offerings, as a basis for giving, but every Christian should also give other offerings sacrificially and cheerfully to the support of the Church, the spreading of the gospel, and the relief of those in need. We believe that a Christian relinquishes all rights to direct the use of the tithe or offering once it has been given. (Genesis 28:17-22, Exodus 23:18-19, Proverbs 3:9-10, Ezekiel 44:30, Matthew 23:23, I Corinthians 16:2, II Corinthians 9:6-7, I John 3:17)
